By car via the Brenner
Highway (A22):
Travel in the direction of South Tyrol. The fastest way to get
here is via the Brenner
Highway (A22). After taking the Bressanone/Val Pusteria
Exit, travel into the Val Pusteria in the direction of Bruneck
(Brunico) (SS49-E66). Just before Bruneck (Brunico) (right after
you have crossed the river Rienz) take the right exit (direction
Bruneck WEST (Brunico OVEST) or Ahrntal (Valle di Tures)). Immediately
following the exit and towards your left you will follow the
road to Bruneck (Brunico) going under a bridge. In the next
roundabout take the third exit in the direction of Pfalzen/Ahrntal
(Falzes/Valle di Tures). Follow the road for 1 km (0.6 mi) and
take a right after the bridge. Follow the road for 1.5 kilometer
(app. 1 mi) to the next roundabout, where again you will take
the exit for St. Georgen. You will pass through St. Georgen
and take a left after the bridge. You will also see a sign pointing
to the "Bartlmair" farm - In der Lahn.
Stay on this road until you see a small wooden bridge. Again,
you will see a "Bartlmair" - In der Lahn
sign. Here, you will take a right. Follow the road for another
300 meters and you have reached our farm.
Travelling by car via Cortina, San Candido or Linz (A):
You will follow the federal road (SS49-E66) and will pass through
the towns of Toblach (Dobbiaco), Niederdorf (Villabassa), Welsberg
(Monguelfo), Olang (Valdaora), and Percha (Perca). Just before
you reach Bruneck (Brunico), you will take the exit Bruneck-OST
(Brunico-EST) on your right. Stay on this road in the direction
of Ahrntal (Valle Aurina). You will go through two roundabouts
- keep keep following the signs to Ahrntal (Valle Aurina). In
the third roundabout, you will take the exit to Bruneck (Brunico).
You will pass through St. Georgen and take a left after the
bridge. You will also see a sign pointing to the "Bartlmair"
farm - In der Lahn. Stay on this road until you see
a small wooden bridge. Again, you will see a "Bartlmair"
- In der Lahn sign. Here, you will take a right. Follow
the road for another 300 meters and you have reached our farm. |

By rail:
By train you will travel the Brenner route to Franzensfeste
(Fortezza). There you will have to change to the local commuter
train to Bruneck (Brunico). From Bruneck (Brunico) you can travel
by public bus system to St. Georgen.
By plane:
Regular flights to and from Bozen
(Bolzano) are available. Other airports in the vicinity
are located in Innsbruck,
Verona
and Treviso.
